today was one day i will never forget. I was cruising down the alaskan highway this morning in the rain with my buddy to my house when the next thing i know im sideways sliding down the highway at 65. the rear wheel caught traction and high sided the bike. I flew off and immediently tucked and rolled the best i could. on the highways in alaska the studded tires on cars make grroves in the road and when it rains they become little 3 inch deep rivers. well im guessing somehow the rut caused the rear end to kick out and slide. i dont have any pics of the bike after but i have some of me. i was wearing a 3/4 helment and leather chaps and jacket. im suffering at the moment from a broken nose, broken thumb/wrist, 3 cracked teeth, road rash where my upper lip was and random roadrash. but i could be dead so i just thankful to be here. i just hope everyone here wears their protective gear because it will save you when you dont expect it.:banana
